Vintage "Liquid Silver" Necklace

This beaded silver necklace is a high end, vintage classic. Known as liquid silver, these necklaces are made with multiple strands, and when put together they have a flowing, waterlike look, from which the name “liquid silver” comes from. Originally called “silver heishi”, each bead is cut, drilled and ground by hand, making the value in not only in the silver, but in the detailed labor of creating these one bead at a time.
